Console Vault has recently made the greatest design improvement since the product was first developed. Our new Triple Guard Lock System™ incorporates a latch design similar to the pins used in the doors of bank vaults, an overall improvement that greatly increases security.

The design also includes a front channel that incorporates the lid into the body of the vault itself, ultimately eliminating stress from the physical lock.

2022 GMC Sierra center seat console

This is the second Console Vault I've purchased. The first was for a 2009 GMC pickup and I left it in the vehicle when I traded it for a 2022 GMC pickup. The consoles are different, so I had to get a different style vault. Installation is simple and quick. Due to the design of the console under the center seat, only the key lock will work, which is livable, but not my favorite. The older one had a combo lock which allowed it to remain unlocked until I needed it otherwise. With the key lock, the key has to stay in the lock while unlocked, preventing the original cover from seating properly. A design that would work with the storage compartment in the seat back would be desirable, since I normally have the seat folded down.
