Coming from the Jeep world - my Honda Ridgeline Pickup is a whole new experience. Formerly I had an underseat safe in my Jeep. This Console Safe is awesome. Install was fast and easy. I can keep things in my truck that are now safe from the opportunist thief. There is still room in my center console for misc items above the safe. My slide tray (I use for coins) works perfectly. I really love the way this is fully integrated into the center console, bolts to the frame/body of the truck at the bottom and has such easy access. I can still use my 12v and USB connections. Well Done. This is an excellent addition to my truck and very much missing from what I needed to keep valuables and firearms safe.

I first found out about ConsoleVault a long time ago when they sold through Costco and I got one for my Tundra. It installed easily and fit great. So as I shopped for my new truck one thing I checked was whether ConsoleVault had one for it. So when I got the Ridgeline I ordered the vault (as soon as it was back in stock). Delivery was quick. I replaced the key lock with the Elite lock before starting installation of the vault. I followed the directions and the install went fairly easily (the manipulation of the USB port extension into place was a bit tricky, and getting the vault pieces lifted and the hidden bolts in place takes a bit of feel and would be easier with three hands which I don't have). I did identify that the USB receptacle was too wide to fit under the lip and next to the bracket welded there, but noting that a bit of filing on the USB piece didn't resolve. Once all together the vault fits the console very well and gives me great safety piece of mind that what is stored there is secure. Many thanks

My last safe in my trunda lid was stiff and awkward. I like keeping a firearm in my truck but I also have kids and this meets my needs perfectly.
