A quality unit, but could use some improvements. It's SMALL..... even a micro compact pistol is a tight fit. It could be made taller and still fit fine. The bottom is padded, but the sides are not. Anything you put in there (like an expensive pistol) will surely get scratched as it bounces off the sides while the vehicle is moving. I had to make my own. (For the price, I shouldn't ve had to). The mounting bolt heads are exposed on the inside which also presents opportunity for scratching items inside. Four rubber thread protectors from my local hardware store covered them nicely. Not a big deal, but again, I shouldn't have had to do it myself for what they charge for it. Lastly, the easy to use electronic lock was not available for my application. Really wished it was. As I said, it's a quality piece, but it is rather pricey and improvements could certainly be made to make it better.

I bought safe to secure my glock 43, unfortunately it was too small to accommodate it. I wish it was a little taller. there is plenty of room to make it a little taller. Overall quality was very good. Well-built and easy installation

Make it deeper to accommodate larger handguns.
