RAM 1500/2500/3500 Low-Profile Center Console Safe: 2019-2024

Love these vaults. Have had them for years and have always been happy with them. Got a new 2024 Ram and was excited to spend a little more on an elite 4 number combo lock as that is what the website said I could use. Unfortunately, once installed, I find out the hard way that the actual combo adjuster ( being the elite, it sticks about 1-1.5 inches upward) blocks the center console from rolling backwards. Even if I open the vault and leave it open, the center console still can't go all the way back to lock giving me access to the storage below. Wish I had known as I would have gotten the traditional vault where the numbers are built into the lid. Still excellent vaults though. Just needs updating on what works with what on the website.

I bought a new 2024 Limited Ram pulp and could wait to get a new vault put in. Iíve been buying theses for yrs as well as my brother. Iíve always had great service and a great product. However things changed drastically. I always ordered my safe with a 3 digit lock. I called and found the descriptions unclear. I called and asked the the lady the lady which I should order . She said it was unclear to her too but I change it out if needed needed so confused, I ordered the key lock. After placing the order, I decided to change to the 3 digit lock and sent a email to change the order. The safe came in and I tried to place it it in (not install it) and had doubts that the console would side back. So I called the company and enters Ember into the pic. She told me to return the lock and once they received it they would send the barrel lock. I sent the item back in which postage was paid by CV. Almost 2 weeks later I received the replacement lock. No directions as there was separate parts. I emailed Amber again and told her that no instructions were included. She sent mement the regular safe install instructions that come the safe and are posted online, but no lock instructions. It was very hard working with Amber judging my past experiences. I still think that CV has a great product s! So my are is still sitting on my table uninstalled. I got burned out messing with it. Please return back to your great service!

This is the second Console Vault I've purchased for different vehicles and they don't disappoint. It is strong and well made. The Ram has a large console and this fits perfectly in the lower space. It is exactly what I needed to lock up my gun/valuables when leaving it at the airport, valet, etc. Highly recommend.
