Features Console Vault's Triple Guard Lock System
™
:
Console Vault has recently made the greatest design improvement since the product was first developed. Our new Triple Guard Lock System
™
incorporates a latch design similar to the pins used in the doors of bank vaults, an overall improvement that greatly increases security.
The design also includes a front channel that incorporates the lid into the body of the vault itself, ultimately eliminating stress from the physical lock.

Interior: 7" L x 8.125" W x 10" H
Lid Opening: 4.25" L x 6.125" W

We love it!
The install was a little tricky—it came with no instructions & ours didn’t slide in quite as easily as the 2014 Youtube video we watched, but it’s in, it fits, & we love the extra security!

Satisfied Customer
The vault was a tight fit and required a bit of persuasion to fit in the console. However, the final results are very satisfactory. You could use a bit of advise on installation. I found help on YouTube, but it was still a bit challenging. Overall, nice product and generally a good design that provides some much needed peace of mind.

I ordered and received the Console Vault with 3-number combination for my 2018 Sienna XLE. Zero instructions for installations and I see nothing on the web site in terms of installation videos. This is not good, because I had lots of problems. Sorry, no photos, but I'll do my best to explain how I handled the main problem -- fitting the vault into the console opening. Fitting the vault in the console requires that the vault be maneuvered all the way down to the bottom -- which was impossible without disassembling the front of the console itself. (Failure to get the vault to the bottom means the console door won't close.) Just too tight to fit properly. So after popping off the front of the console and undoing two screws at the top (you have to pry off or move the top side smaller plastic pieces to get at the screws), I was able to get the vault to the bottom. There are two small bolts which are designed to be installed on either side (next to the driver and passenger seats) FROM THE EXTERIOR OF THE VAULT. If you do it like I believe, that would require that the entire exterior of the console be removed so you can drill small holes in the underlying plastic rather than drilling holes in the exterior plastic (would look unsightly that way and create a security problem all by itself). They also provide a self-tapping screw, which is to be mounted on the bottom of the vault into the van's floor. In short, the company's complete failure to provide suitable and clear instructions, or even a how-to video on their web site, is unconscionable. Not everybody on the planet is a mechanic.
