I am very happy with this Console Vault. It does fit my 2025 Rubicon X which has a center console that is not as deep as every other JL and JT that we have owned. I really appreciate that Console Vault made one for it.

There is just one thing I found disappointing. When installing we put the hardware in the console so it would not be misplaced. The Jeep was sitting at an angle, so the screws and nuts rolled forward and went behind the front panel, which sits back from the inside of the console about 1/2 inch. I had to remove the front bracket and fold it down to retrieve them. After installation I put some adhesive backed carpet pieces to prevent small items from getting into that space.

Honestly it was a little trickier than other console vaults I’ve installed on my other vehicles but in the end very solid & secure. The metal wings take a little work to get into position but be patient they will fit.
