Console Vault has recently made the greatest design improvement since the product was first developed. Our new Triple Guard Lock System™ incorporates a latch design similar to the pins used in the doors of bank vaults, an overall improvement that greatly increases security.

The design also includes a front channel that incorporates the lid into the body of the vault itself, ultimately eliminating stress from the physical lock.

Worth the Wait

The Console Vault I ordered for the 2025 Explorer took a while for delivery, however it was worth the seven week wait. Easy to install, looks nice and most importantly, it will make it more difficult for anyone wanting to do a quick smash and grab. My only issue was with the vault door where the hinges were on the top rather than the back where the console lid hinges were. This makes it a bit awkward and slower to open. Customer service did get back with me right away and explained it was the best way to be made for this Ford Explorer. The top of the console lid has a lip and would interfere with the lock if it were on the other side. Once it was pointed out to me, it made sense. Just know, if’s a concern for you before purchasing. I’ve attached a picture of my install to show what it looks like. Five Stars and would purchase again!
