Once it was available, I purchased a second safe for my new 2025 Honda Pilot. I had one in a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I decided on the electronic lock because the numbers were much easier to see than the rolling combination I had before. It is also faster to open. Although the safe takes some space away, there was still enough room for a small S&W MP, two clips, a spare wallet, a collapsed baton, a pocket knife, and bottle opener, and a set of other function keys all of which are easy to find without digging through it all. Still room to spare. I also purchased a set of Neodymium magnets at the local big box that I attached to the inside of the safe to keep the keys and the knife easier to find. They hold the items very well. Do I think the safe could keep out a determined thief, no. But it would definitely discourage the opportunistic thief (auto shop, car wash, valet, other) from taking easily pilfered articles. I had a little difficulty getting the combination changed, but it finally worked. Probably my issue. Easy to install with a ratchet socket.
