Note: This safe is not compatible if you have the factory cd player installed in the center console.

Jeep Cherokee center console safe

Console Vault has recently made the greatest design improvement since the product was first developed. Our new Triple Guard Lock System™ incorporates a latch design similar to the pins used in the doors of bank vaults, an overall improvement that greatly increases security.

The design also includes a front channel that incorporates the lid into the body of the vault itself, ultimately eliminating stress from the physical lock.

Great little secure box

Great little secure box. I don’t know if I’d keep a firearm in it at all for a short term if I inadvertently forget where I’m going. Restricted area etc. but it’s a great vault for valuables

Finally made the purchase of the box. It’s very well designed, and for the most part, very well constructed. Given car counsel size, the box has limitations for what it can hold. Thus a Glock 43 is an easy fit. A Glock 19 or similar are tighter. Full size pistols won’t fit. Plan accordingly. Inversely we have a sister product in our truck, you can get two pistols is that. It’s all about the vehicle. My only disappointment was what I see as a fail point. The cheap lock and anchor bolts. For the big price including. A digital lock or keyed alike option at no cost would be more incentive to buy. We wated till there was a sale, didn’t think need met regular retail price without some discount or price reduction.
