The safe feels very strong and secure. The combination rest was simple and took about 20 seconds to compete. I was initially concerned about the installation but it turned out to be extremely simple and fast, and only took about 5 minutes. The safe fits snuggly into the existing console. You do lose a couple inches on each side at the opening, which is a little concerning for safely extracting a weapon quickly. I think an improvement would be to include a thin padded liner to keep objects from banging metal or falling into the cracks and crevices inside the safe.

I have installed console vaults in a couple of owned vehicles and love them. They are secure and install is super easy. This one was no different and the quality is second to none. I always recommend Console Vaults to friends!

Nicer if it had a full bottom coverage

This is the third vehicle safe I have purchased from Console Vault. Purchased upgrades lock this go round. Great choice. Easier to see. Easy to use.

My research said this was the one to buy. After purchasing it, there was no question it was the one to buy. Easy to install (recommend watching the video rather than going by the instructions it come with) and still have plenty of room inside. I went with the four tumbler lock and really like it.
