Lexus RX350 Center Console Safe: 2023-2026

Quality of product is outstanding.
Amount of space in console is small to start with so there are some limitations there. However, the opening on the console safe seems smaller than it has to be. Not sure that a full size weapon would fit through the opening.

It would be helpful if the door opening was larger. Appears to be plenty of room to make the opening bigger, and that would help when attempting to put your hand through the door.
Other than that it appears to be a good addition to the center console of the car.

Installation was straight forward. The combo lock (4 digit) did not work properly (luckily I tested it while it was open). I exchanged it for the barrel key lock. That worked well. The inside gives me room for a backup/secondary pistol and my carry pistol, if need be. The only issue which I noticed with my vault was the lid when it's closed. There's play in it. You can easily manipulate a flat head in the gap (if the bad guy comes with tools). In the end, it's better than lockable glove box. Bad guys want to be in and out fast (the path of least resistance). This vault will delay if not stop the thief.
