I wasn’t sure how well the safe would fit into my 2023 Hyundai Palisade, or how easy it would be to install, even after reviewing the support documentation. But installation was fast and easy once I bought a 10 inch extension for the socket set. So easy that I installed it in the parking lot of the hardware store after buying the extension.

I love that the safe is hidden under the console lid, and that I can still get to the two outlets in the console well. I almost bought the digital lock, but my wife has issues with digital locks so I went with the elite 4 dial version.

After years of using portable pistol cases, it is great to have one built in to the console.

This is my third vehicle with a Console Vault, ordered it as soon as we got home from the dealer when we bought it. Easy installation, simply two bolts and its in! Got it with the electronic lock, which is great. Only way it could be better is if the auto-lock feature worked with my vehicle.

Easy install. Easy access

Everything about this safe matches the other reviews. It installs quickly and easily. The only issue is the accessibility to the power receptacles in the space occupied by the safe. This probably applies only to the Hyundai Palisade. It has a type C USB port and 12-Volt power supply that ends up inside the vault once it’s installed. It’s not realistic to leave the safe and therefore the console open while driving and the safe door will NOT stay closed while it’s unlocked.
