I love this item. Very easy to install. Very well built. It will certainly protect my valuables. Only one small issue. There’s a cigarette lighter socket in the console that can only be used inside the vault. There’s no way to feed a wire from inside the vault to a device needing a battery charge. I give it a 95. It’s got a good beat and you can dance to it.

I watched a couple of YouTube videos for insight into the installation process. I found them to be quite helpful. Ratchet wrench swing conflicted with the walls of the vault and I didn't have a long enough extension to work above the vault. One leftover plastic piece from original console. Only disappointment is that the lock looks extremely flimsy.

A friend and his son introduced this console safe to me. I purchased it that evening. I wish I would known about it sooner. It's more secure than I could have imagined.

This is a great security upgrade for my wife's Toyota 4Runner! Although the glove box does have a lock, it is not very tamper proof. This Console Vault fits like factory installed. It is virtually invisible and very secure. I have a similar Console Vault in my Toyota Tacoma.

Outside of the vault for use while locked, without pinching the wire excessively. Nylon spacers under vault solved problem. Well worth the money.
