Chevy Silverado under middle seat console

The vault is of good quality construction, but I was disappointed that the self-tapping screws to secure the vault simply screwed into the plastic of the console and not into any metal. In my opinion it should have been designed to bolt down through the console into the floor which would have made it more secure. As is, the vault can be pried out of the console fairly easily with a flat crowbar.
